Why ChipShotz

Not another backyard toy. A new way to play real golf with your people.

Addictive

One game becomes three. Three becomes five. Then the sun goes down and you're still playing.

Portable

Folds completely flat so it lives in your trunk instead of your storage room. Backyard, lake, driveway, campus. Bring it anywhere.

Authentic

Real chips with real ball flight so your touch carries straight to the course. Smaller target. Faster reps. More feel.

durable

Built from real wood and hardware that can handle real swings outdoors. Toss it in and out of the car for years. It is built to take it.

Your backyard, your rules

Play it as it lies.™

Frequently Asked Questions

ChipShotz is a backyard chipping game built with real wedges and real golf balls. You set up small pyramid targets, keep score, and play it where it lies instead of raking balls back to your feet.
Most backyard nets feel like chores. You just bang balls and never read a lie. ChipShotz gives you real targets, real ball flight, and real consequences so your short game actually carries to the course.
A Chipyramid is the triangular target you see in all our photos and renders. Early Batch is one Chipyramid practice target. The full game will use two Chipyramids facing each other.
Hit the pyramid for one point. Tag the topper for three. Knock the topper clean off for five. Alternate shots, keep score, and always play it where it lies.
110% Yes. The target is much smaller than most practice nets, so your strike has to tighten up. You learn to read lies, adjust for grass and ground, and commit to a real landing spot. If you can clip a Chipyramid, you can handle a tight pin.
Backyard, basement, garage, dorm lawn, park, lake house. Anywhere you can safely swing a wedge and send a ball a few yards.
Kickstarter lets people back projects before they fully launch. You reserve a product at a launch price. If we hit our goal, cards are charged and we build the full run. If we miss, you are never charged.
Golfers who want a real practice challenge and people who want a backyard game with some skill
The full two target ChipShotz game is planned to launch on Kickstarter in January. Early Batch gets you playing now while we finish that build.
